How to Install dict software package in Debian 8 (Jessie)

dict software package provides dictionary client, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install dict

dict is installed in your system.

Make ensure the dict package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep dict *

You will get with dict package name, version, architecture and description in a table
